Solution Overview
The Body Domain Controller validation solution from GigaDevice is based on the GD32A72x series MCU, which complies with the ASIL-B functional safety standard and the Evita-Full + SM2/3/4 information security standards. The solution supports a wide voltage input range of 7V-18V, and employs an ASIL-B safety-level SBC to power the MCU and onboard peripheral chips. It supports sleep wakeup and fault detection to meet the functional safety needs for body domain control. The board features 2 CAN/CAN-FD and 1 LIN communication interfaces to fulfill communication requirements with other in-vehicle modules, like T-box. It includes 9 motor control channels, with 6 of them supporting intelligent anti-pinch algorithms for unified control of electric windows, power tailgates, electric mirrors, and air-conditioning fans control as well. It supports input signals such as brakes, horn, doors, and turning, along with brake lights and turn signals control. It reserves an interface for UWB/PEPS module, which provides compatibility with domestic UWB solutions. The board includes 20 high-side driver interfaces, 24 low-side driver interfaces, and Hall sensor interfaces, offering excellent scalability.
